Football sport profile

Football scoreboard software for LED, TV and stadium screens

The ArenaCue football profile follows 11-a-side: two 45-minute count-up halves, injury time, extra time 2×15, yellow and red cards, goals and substitutions — on the LED, TV or projector you already have.

A football match is halves, cards and a running clock

Football on the venue screen is not a stream overlay. The crowd looks at the LED or the TV in the stand. ArenaCue puts score, match clock, halves and events on that surface from one Windows PC. The profile is FOOTBALL: eleven a side, two halves, count-up.

The clock runs 45 minutes per half, 15 minutes at half-time, optionally two extra-time periods of 15. Injury time belongs to this profile. Goals, yellow and red cards and substitutions interrupt the current sponsor clip; rotation then resumes. There is no shot clock and no set score — that is basketball or volleyball.

Search “football scoreboard software” and you mostly find an OBS overlay or a hardware board you must buy. ArenaCue is the third path: Windows software on the screen the crowd already watches, over HDMI or DisplayPort, 16:9 on a TV, projector or LED.

A typical home match: set teams and kick-off, start the count-up clock, click +1 on a goal. Injury time and extra time stay in this profile. One operator keeps clock and events; helpers can join on the Android app over LAN.

US and some international clubs search “soccer scoreboard software”. It is the same 11-a-side profile, not a second product. This page is for club matches: Club Scoreboard is €99 per month excl. VAT, with a 14-day trial and no payment card. Stadium for Pro League and Challenger starts from €349 by quote on the stadium page.

01

Halves, count-up and injury time

The operator starts and pauses the match clock. Count-up per half, 45 minutes by default, extra time 2×15. Injury time is a football-specific control — futsal counts down, volleyball has no clock.

  • Two halves, count-up, main break after the first half
  • Optional extra time: two 15-minute periods
  • Injury time in the football profile
  • Same app as futsal (countdown) without duplicating this page
02

Goals, cards and substitutions in one panel

Score +1, yellow and red cards, substitution visuals. A goal or card stops the sponsor clip so the match moment owns the screen. One operator keeps clock and events; the media loop runs in the background.

03

Pitch and stand: existing LED or TV

Club grounds often use a TV or a compact LED; stadiums a centre wall. The signal path is the same: Windows 10/11, HDMI or DisplayPort, 16:9. No vendor console that only belongs to one board.

04

Sponsors beside the scoreboard during halves

During playing halves the sponsor runs beside the scoreboard. Pre-match, half-time and full-time can be fullscreen. Seconds per phase, pause on goals and substitutions, proof-of-play after the final whistle.

05

One operator on the match table

Clock, score, cards, substitutions and sponsors sit in one control panel. You do not need a broadcast crew for a home match. Extra phones on the local network can help with score or media; the stadium picture still comes from the Windows PC.

  • Control panel and stadium screen on one PC
  • Android helpers over LAN, not a second scoreboard app
  • Prematch, halves, half-time, extra time and full-time in one flow

Try it on your own screen this weekend

Install on Windows 10 or 11, extend the desktop to the TV or LED you already own, and run a 14-day trial. Name, club and email only — no payment card. The demo on this page uses the same football profile as the download.

07

Club price on this page; stadium is a different product

People searching football scoreboard software are usually running a club match. Club Scoreboard is €99 per month excl. VAT, two Windows activations, cancellable monthly. Pro League and Challenger venues use Stadium from €349 by quote — that is the stadium scoreboard software page, not a hidden football tariff here.

Football scoreboard software FAQ

Which football profile does ArenaCue include?
Eleven a side, two 45-minute count-up halves, half-time, optional extra time 2×15, injury time, yellow and red cards, goals and substitutions. Futsal is a separate profile with a countdown clock and team fouls.
Is soccer different from football in ArenaCue?
No. Soccer is the same 11-a-side match. There is no second product. The English URL /en/soccer-scoreboard-software redirects here so US searchers land on this football profile.
Can one person run a football match?
Yes. Clock, score, cards, substitutions and sponsors live in one control panel. Extra helpers can pair over the Android app on LAN.
Is this the same as a YouTube or OBS score overlay?
No. An overlay sits on a camera feed. This software fills the screen in the stand. The same Windows app can also send a basic livestream to YouTube, Twitch or RTMP; the venue screen stays the main job.
Can I try football scoreboard software before I pay?
Yes. The Club trial is 14 days on your own PC and screen. No payment card. After the trial, Club Scoreboard is €99 per month excl. VAT.
What does football scoreboard software cost?
Club Scoreboard: €99 per month excl. VAT, two Windows activations. No separate football tariff. Stadium from €349 per month by quote for Pro League and Challenger.
