System requirements
ArenaCue Scoreboard and LED boarding run as Windows desktop software. On a typical matchday the PC runs for 4 to 6 hours with live control, timer and repeated fullscreen or rotation video. Reliable GPU video decode matters most.
Operating system
- Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
- New B2B installs: Windows 11 Pro as the default
- Recent updates and stable graphics drivers (Intel / AMD / NVIDIA)
Network
- Scoreboard core can run fully offline
- Cloud remote control, licence checks and online links need a stable connection
- For the mobile app: wired Ethernet on the matchday PC, Wi‑Fi only as fallback
Mobile app
- The Android app for remote control has lower requirements than the matchday PC
- A recent phone or tablet with a supported Android version is usually enough
- Heavy video playback happens on the desktop, not on the phone
Minimum and recommended
The minimum column works for a scoreboard with light to medium sponsor video. With heavy playlists or lots of HD/4K content that class hits its limits sooner.

Power & updates: use a matchday profile without power saving, schedule updates outside match hours and close unnecessary heavy background apps.
Matchday hardening
Concrete limits for resolution, codec and bitrate depend on your media files and screen setup. When in doubt: simulate a full match on the target PC before the first live use.
UPS (backup power)
A short power dip must not cause a reboot or live outage.
Driver discipline
Test GPU drivers beforehand. Never update blindly right before a match.
Preflight test
Simulate the full match flow with real media on the target PC.
Failover
Keep a spare output or fallback image ready for emergencies.
