Changelog

Changes relevant for clubs and operators — new features, sponsor and display behaviour, the licence portal and the website. Don’t see your version? Open the customer portal for the current download.
  1. v0.1.40

German as a fifth language in the app

    • You can pick German in Prepare, alongside Dutch, English, French and Italian. The menu, control panel, mobile app and notices follow that language.
    • The website uses the same five languages, so German clubs can find ArenaCue in their own language.
  2. v0.1.39

Swap a demo licence for your paid key

    • In Prepare you see which licence is active. After purchase you paste your new key there; you do not need to reinstall the app.
    • The current licence keeps working until the new key is activated.
  3. v0.1.38Bugfix

Bugfix: red background, readable initials and a preview at the right scale

    • Anyone who opened the editor on the default layout in 0.1.36 or 0.1.37 and saved got a red background on the full scoreboard. That no longer happens. If you already saved it, choose Default or change the background colour.
    • Teams without a logo show their initials in a circle that fits, on the full scoreboard and in the L-bar.
    • The preview in Arrange the screen now follows your screen size. A new text or image box lands in a free spot, not on top of existing boxes.
    • After a language change the stadium screen follows the new language.
  4. v0.1.37

Choose the monitor, countdown, announcements and moving to another PC

    • In Prepare you choose which monitor shows the stadium screen. A button shows a number on each monitor for a few seconds, so you know which is which.
    • A countdown to the planned time of the match appears on the stadium screen and disappears by itself once the match starts.
    • From the Live tab you put an announcement on the screen, for example about a car that has to be moved. A long text scrolls across the screen as a ticker.
    • The venue backup now also contains the videos, logos and photos stored elsewhere on your PC. You restore it on the same PC or on another one.
  5. v0.1.36Bugfix

Bugfix: editor shows the L-bar with the automatic layout

    • With the automatic layout the logos sit in the L-bar while a sponsor clip plays. Arrange the screen now shows that same picture instead of the free layout.
    • As soon as you drag a box, the editor switches to the free layout.
  6. v0.1.35

Arrange the screen freely, with a layout per sport and phase

    • In Arrange the screen you drag every box freely and add your own elements: team name, period, time of day, free text or an image. You hide what you do not need.
    • Undo, arrow keys and magnetic alignment make it precise. Unsaved work stays in place when you briefly switch to another tab.
    • You link a saved layout to a sport or match phase; the screen then picks it by itself. Try on screen shows your design on the stadium screen for 60 seconds without saving.
    • The update notice waits until after the match, and before each update the app keeps a copy of your data.
  7. v0.1.34Bugfix

Bugfix: sponsor overview shows what is really on the screen

    • The sponsor overview marks only the sponsor that is on screen at that moment. A sponsor that merely has budget left is no longer shown as playing.
    • The phases follow the sport: basketball shows quarters instead of football halves.
  8. v0.1.33

Add photos to a feature request

    • In Request a feature you add up to three photos, for example of a scoreboard or a sketch of what you mean. That makes it clear at once what you want.
  9. v0.1.32

One background for all scoreboard layouts

    • Under Arrange the screen you set one background image that applies to all scoreboard layouts.
    • Separate images for the full scoreboard and the L-bar remain possible; without an image you see the colours of the theme.
  10. v0.1.31

Request a feature yourself from the app

    • With the Request a feature button in the control panel you describe what you are missing. The request goes straight to ArenaCue.
    • If the feature already exists, you read at once where to find it and what it does.
  11. v0.1.30

Basketball: the shot clock can stay off

    • You turn the shot clock off for the moment, or save that as the default for later periods and matches.
  12. v0.1.29

Music on a chosen sound card and sponsor video that fills the frame

    • For local music you choose the sound card or output it plays on.
    • A sponsor video fills its box on the screen completely.
    • The mobile control follows the match that is live at that moment.
  13. v0.1.28

Custom screens, player lists and local music

    • In Visibility you tick the tabs and live blocks yourself and save that as a screen. Everything stays one click away.
    • Under the home team you create player lists, such as Women's, and the selected list shows only those players.
    • Switching the home team is one click. Each squad keeps its own players.
    • Play local music files from the control desk: play, pause, stop and track choice. No streaming service is connected.
  14. v0.1.27

Basketball: shot clock, breaks and possession arrow

    • Alternating possession shows as an arrow on the scoreboard, in control and on the phone.
    • The shot clock shows tenths under 5 seconds and switches off on a new possession when the game clock is under 14 seconds.
    • In the last 2:00 of quarter 4 a team may take at most two time-outs.
    • A horn sounds after 50 seconds of a time-out, and 30 seconds before quarter 2, quarter 4 and each overtime.
    • The quarter break (2 minutes) and half-time (15 minutes) count down separately on screen.
    • Team fouls, bonus and the shot clock are larger on the LED. The phone has an overtime button and shows bonus and the time-out limit.
  15. v0.1.26Bugfix

Bugfix: volleyball sponsor minutes and stalls

    • Volleyball sponsor minutes in play and set break now actually run on the LED, not only in the HUD.
    • HUD, LED and L-panel stay on the same sponsor minutes.
    • If the sponsor panel stayed black, rotation now recovers on its own.
    • Quick buttons and interrupts no longer consume sponsor budget.
  16. v0.1.25

Volleyball: time cues, sponsors and team intro

    • Time cues work during a volleyball match: from the start of Sets 1–3 or Sets 4–5, the counter pauses in the set break.
    • Sponsor clips on the LED and HUD also run when there is no match clock.
    • Pre button to play the team intro before set 1.
    • The team intro stays visible above the scoreboard instead of behind the L-bar.
  17. v0.1.24

    Controls, media and sponsor HUD

    • Empty control and display screens after startup have been fixed.
    • Layout: make columns wider and move blocks up or down.
    • More media buttons at a glance in Display.
    • The sponsor HUD shows the exact clip title next to the sponsor name.
  18. v0.1.14

    Livestream from the control panel

    • New Livestream tab: stream to YouTube, Twitch or your own RTMP destination without separate broadcast software.
    • Sources: camera, stadium display, browser window, local media, screen or window; switch sources live.
    • Score overlay and optional sponsor visuals on the stream, plus audio mixer and local recording.
    • Prefer NVIDIA NVENC encoding (1080p or 720p); FFmpeg is included in the Windows build.
    • Italian added alongside NL, EN and FR in the desktop app.
  19. v0.1.13

Match control, i18n and more stable live output

    • Control panel and Electron menu in Dutch, English and French.
    • “Start new match” with the same kick-off and pre-match settings as Setup (including the pre-match window before kick-off).
    • “Stop match” button next to quick start: end the match while keeping score, events and sponsor logs for reporting.
    • Warning when closing the application, so you do not stop accidentally during a live match.
    • 1st/2nd half (and extra time) switch automatically to Scoreboard + sponsors; clearer pre-match HUD if the schedule has not started yet.
    • More stable live preview (no empty strip beside the picture) and a scoreboard clock that no longer jumps when digits change.
    • Sponsor schedule: more reliable clip changes after restart/hang; ArenaCue Windows publisher metadata on the portable .exe.
  20. v0.1.12

    Multisport profiles and scoreboard templates

    • Sport profiles and scoreboard templates for more match formats besides football.
    • Improved setup for theme, canvas and templates in the control panel.
  21. v0.1.10

    Post-match sponsorship and telemetry

    • Post-match sponsor budget, schedule and telemetry aligned with pre-match/half-time.
    • Richer reporting and editor for sponsor planning.
  22. v0.1.2

    Sponsor timing and match interruptions

    • Sponsor videos now pause correctly during match moments such as goals, cards and substitutions, then resume from the same position.
    • Interrupted sponsor clips only count the seconds actually played, so sponsor budgets are tracked more fairly and accurately.
    • An active sponsor clip is kept during overlays, so clips no longer stop early when the scoreboard briefly shows an animation or notice.
    • Extra checks and soak tests for sponsor rotation in both halves, including goals, cards and substitutions.
