Volleyball scoreboard software for LED, TV and hall displays
Volleyball needs sets, not a football clock
A generic counter misses what indoor volleyball needs: set score, win-by-two, a fifth set to 15, and timeouts that break the rally. The ArenaCue volleyball profile follows that structure. The match clock is off on the display; the operator counts points, not minutes.
Sets go to 25 points, the deciding set to 15, always by two points. Best of five — three sets win the match. Technical timeouts fall at 8 and 16 in a regular set. Each set allows two 30-second timeouts. Substitutions live in the same panel.
Sponsors run between sets and during technical timeouts, fullscreen or beside the scoreboard as you configure. Proof-of-play is the same commercial report as in other sports. Club Scoreboard is €99 per month excl. VAT on Windows 10/11, on the LED, TV or projector already in the hall.

Points, sets and win-by-two
The operator adds points with the +1 control. Set score sits beside the point tally. You close a set to the hall’s rules; the profile knows 25/15 and a two-point margin. There is no count-up or countdown clock on the display — volleyball is rally scoring.
- Point tally per set with the set score visible
- Regular sets to 25, deciding set to 15, win by 2
- Best of five: first to three sets wins
- No match clock on the display (timer mode NONE in the profile)
Timeouts and technical breaks
Two timeouts per set, thirty seconds each. Technical timeouts at 8 and 16 in a regular set give the crowd and sponsors a fixed screen moment. The operator stays in the same control panel; the media loop resumes after the break.
Hall workflow: scorer’s table to LED or TV
Typical installs are an indoor LED, a TV wall or a projector on the end wall. The Windows PC sits at the scorer’s table. HDMI or DisplayPort fills that surface. Extra helpers can pair over the Android app on LAN; the set score on the PC stays the source of truth.
Sponsors between sets, not over a running clock
Without a play clock, commercial timing differs from football. Plan seconds for pre-match, between sets, technical timeouts and after the match. During a rally the scoreboard leads; fullscreen sponsors belong in the breaks.
Volleyball scoreboard software FAQ
- Does ArenaCue have a volleyball profile?
- Yes. Sets, point scoring, win-by-two, technical timeouts at 8 and 16, two timeouts per set and substitutions. The match clock is off on the display for this profile.
- Can we use a hall TV as the volleyball scoreboard?
- Yes, if the TV shows the HDMI or DisplayPort signal from the Windows PC. Test readability of set score and points from the stands before first whistle.
- Does sponsor rotation run during a set?
- During rallies the scoreboard leads. You schedule sponsors around pre-match, technical timeouts, set breaks and after the match — with proof-of-play of what actually ran.
- What does volleyball scoreboard software from ArenaCue cost?
- The same Club subscription as the other sports: €99 per month excl. VAT, two Windows activations, cancellable monthly. No separate volleyball tariff.
